Free and Premium
Unstable Essentials comes in two builds. Free is free on Modrinth. Premium includes new features like pvp bots, better queues, and team glow.
Installing Premium
The jar you download from BuiltByBit is a loader, not the plugin itself. Drop it in plugins/ and start the server like any other plugin.
On first start it runs in limited mode until an op activates it. Run /unstable activate and a window opens where you can paste your key privately, without it ever showing up in chat or the console.
Making a kit
Put the items, armor and other items you want in your inventory, then save the kit using:
/kit create <name>In the chat will be a menu where you can set the settings.
To edit the kit or see all kits. Simply run:
/kitsDeath Kits
A death kit sets the items that should drop when a player using that kit dies. This is useful when a scene needs a particular drop, even if the player has changed what they're carrying.
Fill your inventory with what should drop, then Set Death Kit in the kit's All Settings dialog.
Run it with an empty inventory to clear the saved death drop. skip leaves the existing death-kit setting alone; it doesn't clear it.
Test this with the death and keep-inventory settings you plan to use for the scene.
If a scene needs someone to drop a specific item on camera, you don't have to hope they were holding it.
Nicknames and Skins
Nicknames and skins let you change how a player appears for a recording. Set a name on its own, copy a skin, or use /nick to apply both together.
The Menu will contain buttons to manage clear add and add random nicknames.
Warps and Teleport
Warps save locations you need to get back to. Use them for sets, arenas or places the cast needs to move between, then control who can use each one.
To teleport to a warp. Run the command:
/warp <name>To set a warp. Run the command:
/setwarp <name>To see all warps. Run the command:
/warpsTo delete a warp. Run the command:
/delwarp <name>Health and Saturation
Use these commands to set up a player's health or hunger before a take. Leave the player out to use them on yourself.
To heal a player use the command:
/heal <name>To feed a player use the command:
/feed <name>Player Control
Use these when players need to stay in place or when you're controlling a scene from your own account. Be careful with selectors like @a, as they can affect everyone at once.
Freezing and Unfreezing are both the command:
/freeze <name>To disable or enable pvp use the command:
/pvp <on/off>To use vanish use the command:
/vanishTo see inside ender chests or inventories use:
/invsee <player> /endersee <player>If you need to deal extra damage use the command:
/extradamage <player> <amount>If you need to lock containers, armor, item frames, or more use the command:
/lockRestore a player's inventory:
/restoreinv <name>If you need to mute voicechat or broadcast your voice, use the command:
/vcmute /vcunmute /vcbroadcast <on/off/bypass <name>>Death and Protection
This section covers what happens when a player dies and how to protect their health. Set it up before the take so a death doesn't interrupt the rest of the scene.

/halfheart <name>To stop all damage at all you can use:
